Myrtle Software sells software and services to the visual effects industry. We are extremely proud to have helped produce computer generated images for over 15 major Hollywood blockbusters. Since 2007 we have supported the volume renderer known as 'Storm' for Digital Domain in LA and Vancouver

Over the past four years Myrtle Software has worked with Digital Domain, the leading visual effects house based in California and Vancouver, to help produce the next generation of its proprietary Storm renderer.

Myrtle Software completely supported Storm for Digital Domain on the following major motion pictures

      The A-Team
      Percy Jackson & the Olympians
      2012
      Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
      G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra

and continues to do so on forthcoming features



Storm won Digital Domain an Academy Award® for Scientific and Technical Achievement in 2004.

Myrtle Software has been hired by Digital Domain, the leading visual effects house based in Venice California, to help produce the next generation of its proprietary Storm renderer.

Storm won Digital Domain an Academy Award® for Scientific and Technical Achievement in 2004 and has been used on numerous major motion pictures including The Day After Tomorrow, Stealth, Flags of Our Fathers, Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End and Transformers.
